Lacey, shabby Notebook and Needlecase

It has taken me a long time to collect enough to lace to consider layering it up like this! So I’ve made a notebook cover and an almost-identical-but-will-never-be-the-same-because-it’s-handmade needlecase. I could have gone on making various other items because the colours and lacey-ness lend themselves to so many different things.

I’ve even been using these gorgeous sparkly buttons – my photos aren’t doing them justice but aren’t they lovely?

What else could I use this lace for? Cases for jewellery or gift maybe…? Not very inventive, but I bet they’d be nice to make…
