I've been making up a few of these easy fabric…
Tea, anyone? Tea cup exchange
“Have you seen your parcel? It’s on the table”.
What?! No, I hadn’t – I wasn’t even expecting it so soon, so it was a lovely surprise. It came from Adaline in Lincolnshire, here in the UK.
Here it is – the star of the show – complete with a silver spoon (and you know how much I love spoons!).
Adaline said it was one from her collection which she bought over from the states when she & her family moved here. Isn’t it beautiful?
This tea cup was nestled comfortably in a lovey box full of goodies.
Tea, sweets, doilies, pen, gluten-free flour (ear-marked for bread rolls in the very near future)…
And buttons (I am so lucky!) which I will probably keep for some time before I use them on some needlecases because owning them is almost as much fun as using them, isn’t it…?
The hand made goodies include bath salt, soap and a brooch. And thank you to Rosalyn as well, for the crocheted lip balm holder.
Thank you so much Adaline, you’re a star and I look forward to keeping in touch with you.
I can’t wait to see what you and your girls received.
Thank you also to Stephanie for arranging the exchange.
Before I go, here’s a peak at the parcel I sent to Eva, in sunny Spain. The cup & saucer were from my collection.
The pieces I made for Eva were a needlecase and pincushion, as she enjoys cross-stiching.
I also included some jewellery, sweets, cream, scarf, shopping bag, lavender heart etc. and some embroidery threads.
Have a great day my new friends!
